Lifeway Kefir

I am part of an elite group called Influenster and they sent me a coupon to try any ONE Lifeway Kefir product for free.

As the picture says Lifeway Kefir is a low-fat, tart n' tangy cultured milk smoothie that's rich in  probiotics.

 But what are probiotics? Basically it is a HEALTHY bacteria for your digestive system to sum it up. And I know what your thinking eww bacteria! Why would I want to eat that. But yogurt has bacteria and I'm okay with that, it just depends on how you see it. There is always bacteria, and I'd rather ingest GOOD bacteria instead of Bad bacteria.

Before this I had not even heard of Lifeway Kefir

After a while of searching I found it at my local Walmart in the dairy section. Not a huge selection but its a start. It made it easier to choose between the flavors.

I chose the Strawberry one as you can see from the photo above. It tastes good, it does have both a tangy and bland. At first it is tangy and then an after taste of bland, like plain yogurt. Over all it was very enjoyable. It comes in a fairly large drinking container so it'll last a little while. Even though it is not super sweet I keep finding myself coming back for more. It is very pleasant and I cannot keep my hands off of it nor my taste buds. It seemed to be highly addicting for me but i am a smoothie fanatic so i just could not help myself. I highly recommend this especially for those that are lactose-in-tolerant because its 99% lactose free.
